James's Trains page

This is my trains page - cool, uh?.

THOMAS, the fictional steam train most kids grow up with.

I have had an interest in trains since I was wee and Thomas the Tank Engine was the reason why I became interested in trains at such a young age. I am now of course interested in the real trains, and my smaller brothers aged 7 and 6 now like Thomas the Tank Engine

.

This is DUNCAN one of Neil's favorite trains.

And this is edward one of Liam's favourites.

But I now think railways have taken a turn for the worse, going private. I think B.R. should be reinstated as it was just before privatisation. For anyone with a vested interest in trains, I would recomend a day trip to the National Railway Museum, York; the N.R.M. They probably have a website, I dunno...

I also like model trains, such as Hornby model trains which I started collecting stuff for not that long ago. I think I like model trains because it gives me the chance to see what running a real railway must be like and so helps me understand what the real railways try to cope with on a busy daily scedule.
